Stampin' Hot Foil System Garden Silhouette Cards

The new Stampin' Hot Foil System by Stampin' Up!® is here and I am so excited about it! It uses heat and pressure to transfer beautiful foiled impressions onto your craft project. The selection of Hot Foil Dies and Stampin' Hot Foil colours that work with the System are gorgeous and elevate any project to a WOW project with its beautiful elegance.

For this project I used the Gold Stampin' Hot Foil Rolls and the results are stunning! The photos do not even do it justice. (Foiling is difficult to photograph). 

  • For the background I used the Garden Silhouette Hot Foil Dies on Pretty Peacock Two-Tone Cardstock, with Gold Stampin' Hot Foil Rolls.
  • I then wrapped some Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon around the background, tied a knot at the right side and adhered the background layer to a Basic Beige Cardstock card base.
  • I then created a label using the Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies with Gold Stampin' Hot Foil on Basic Beige Cardstock, then once foiled, I die cut the label with the coordinating label dies that come in the pack.
  • I adhered the label over the ribbon using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • I created the sentiment using the Classic Greetings Hot Foil Dies with Gold Stampin' Hot Foil on Lost Lagoon Cardstock, then die cut the greeting using the coordinating dies that come in the pack. 
  • I adhered the die cut sentiment to the label using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • I completed this project by adding two Flower Accents to the label, which coordinate beautifully with the gold foiling.

Below is another colour in the same design. I used Blackberry Bliss for the background, Very Vanilla for the label and Berry Burst for the sentiment.
Hot Foiling is so much fun and it's hard to stop once you start. You just feel that you want to keep creating beautiful shiny things.

Measurements

Card Base - Basic Beige Cardstock - 21cm x 14.85cm, scored and folded at 10.5cm

Layer - Pretty Peacock Two-Tone Cardstock - 10.1cm x 14.45cm

Label - Basic Beige Cardstock - 7cm x 8.5cm

Layer - Lost Lagoon Cardstock - 10cm x 6cm

Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon - 26cm
