Make a beautiful rustic card using the July 2026 Product of the Month, Begonia Belle Stamp Set.
This two-step stamp set is easy to stamp and provides beautifully detailed images.
I achieved this rustic style card using a couple of easy distressing techniques as noted below.
- Start by ink distressing the edges of the Basic White card base using Peaceful Pine Classic Stampin' Pad and a Sponge Dauber.
- Next scissor distress the edges of the Gingham Gallery Designer Series Paper to give a shaggy edge look, before curling the edges and corners slightly with the fingers.
- Die cut the frame with the largest die from the Beautifully Celebrated Dies, then ink distress the edges with Crumb Cake ink and a Sponge Dauber.
- Use a Blending Brush to add Crumb Cake ink to the outer areas of the die cut frame.
- Two-step stamp two flowers with Crisp Cantaloupe and Golden Glow Classic Stampin' Pads onto Basic White Cardstock and fussy cut with Detail Scissors.
- Two-step stamp four large leaves and stamp two small leaves in Peaceful Pine Classic Stampin' Pad onto Basic White Cardstock.Fussy cut all the leaves.
- Stamp leaf and flower stems in 2nd generation Peaceful Pine ink onto Basic White Cardstock, after stamping off the first 1st generation on scrap paper. Then stamp one set of flower buds in 2nd generation Crisp Cantaouple onto one of the sets of flower stems. Then stamp one set of flower buds in 2nd generation Golden Glow ink onto the other set of flower stems. Fussy cut both of the floral images.
- Stamp one leaf and flower stems in 1st generation Peaceful Pine ink. Then stamp one set of the flower buds in 1st generation Crisp Cantaloupe ink onto the stems. Fussy cut the floral image.
- Using a Bone Folder, shape all of the fussy cut images.
- Stamp the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink onto Basic White sentiment strip and ink around the edges using Crumb Cake ink and a Sponge Dauber. Set aside.
- Assemble floral bouquet for placement. Adhere all leaves and the small flowers to the frame with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. (TIP: the large leaf that is between the two large flowers is adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Golden Glow flower on the right side and Stampin' Dimensionals under the left side of the leaf that sits on the frame). Adhere the large flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Adhere the sentiment label over the flowers with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Embellish card with one large and two small Gilded Wings Accents (butterflies), that have had their wings gently shaped upwards.
- Tie a knot in a piece of Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon, trim ends and adhere beneath the sentiment strip, using a Mini Glue Dot.
