Easter Basket Fun Fold Card with Easter Joy Suite

Thank you for joining us for this month's Let's Craft Together Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from Australia who have developed a wonderful friendship through our love of stamping and admiration of each other's creativity.

Each month, one of us takes turn to set a blog hop challenge, where we share our creativity with others through our blog hops. Be sure to hop along to them all, for lots of creative inspiration. You will see the list of names below.

This month I got to choose the theme for our monthly challenge and the theme I have chosen is Animal Kingdom. I and many others just love animals and we have so many stamp sets with animals in them that I thought it would be a fun challenge.

I really enjoyed creating this card and it turned out even better than I imagined. The addition of the flowers, some added inked details and lots of layers, really stepped up this card.

This is a variation of a Z-Fold fun-fold card. I created it to have three even panels when the card was closed to display three of the gorgeous Designer Series Papers from the two paper packs in this suite. The focal scene is adhered to the fold-back panel, so that when the card is open, all of the detail sits at the front of the card.
The card also has an arch insert panel for writing a message or greeting for the recipient.

I love how the little chicks are peeking out from the basket of flowers and one little chick has jumped out of the basket to play with the bunny. Perhaps he wants to try some carrots too!
