Valentine's Pop-Out Gate Fold Card

Love is in the air...

With Valentine's Day just around the corner I thought I would create a love-themed fun fold card.

However, this card doesn't have to necessarily be used for Valentine's Day but could be sent to someone you care about, perhaps a family member or a friend. 

This pop-out gate fold card is sometimes also know as an 'M' Card, a 'W' Card, or a 'flying seagull' card. From the outside it looks like any normal gate fold card.

When you open up the card, the centre panel pops up with the clever mechanism and additional scored fold in the card base.

I used the Feathered Fun Stamp set with the Made With Love Designer Series Paper and the exclusive January Product Of The Month, Fabulous Sayings stamp set, for the sentiment. 

I wanted to utilise as much of the Made With Love Designer Series Paper as I could, so I added it to each panel and left two plain white panels on the reverse side of the card for writing a message. How cute are the birds from the Feathered Fun stamp set!
