Card Swap Chain F - Grateful Blessing Card

In May I was invited to join a fun Card Swap Chain. It operates similar to a game we used to play as kids, where one person whispers a message to the first person, then the second person tries to remembers the message to pass onto the next person and so on. At the end after it being passed around the group, you usually end up with a completely different message.

It's a similar concept but with CASEing (Copying And Selectively Editing) cards. Though it took me a few rounds to grasp the entire concept and how it worked with cards, it was a lot of fun and so interesting to see how others in the group interpreted people's designs and made it their own.

In the first round, each of us designed a card and sent it on the next person on the list. That person then CASEd our card and sent it on to the next person on the list and so on, until it went all the way around the ten participants and the final version came back to the original creator.

The first card in this chain was created by Cindy Hughes. My suggestion is that you start at her blog post, then click through the blog hop list, so you can see the evolution of the original design.

My card you see below was round 4 (the 4th version) which means that there had been quite a few interpretations of the original card.

For my card in this chain I chose the Grateful Blessing Stamp Set with the Everyday Arches Dies and Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper. I love the two-step stamping in this stamp set, which makes it so quick and easy to add colour to the floral images.
