Lovely Florals Scrapbooking Layouts

This week I wanted to do some scrapbooking but didn't have time to design my own layouts, so I grabbed out the Lovely Florals Scrapbooking Workshop Kit that I had in my stash. These kits make it so easy as everything comes in the kit with measurements and instructions outlined in the booklet to create 3 double-page layouts. Of course you always have the option of changing it up to make it your own, or using the kit to create cards or off the page projects.

My photos below don't really do justice to the beautiful colours in the layout, as I think that my photo washed out the colours.

I've only had time to create one of the double page spreads so far and will complete the other two double page spreads as soon as I get a chance. I have everything cut and prepped ready to go. Now just to make some time!

I chose to scrapbook a special time I spent with my little girl Amber, who was 2 1/2 years old in these photos. I had just come home from being away for a few days in hospital with our 5 month old baby, who needed critical kidney surgery. This was special Mummy and Amber time, playing Aeroplane rides and having fun with stickers. I think Amber thought that the butterflies looked pretty on Mummy's face. She was brave during her aeroplane rides and even did "look, no hands". 

Aeroplane rides were a fun thing my Daddy did with me when I was little and I carried on the tradition with our children. They loved it. 

The green colour of Amber's little overalls and the yellow/orange timber furniture in the background coordinated so perfectly with the colours of this layout. 

The Scrapbooking Workshop Kit comes with Designer Series Paper, some of which is exclusive to the kit, Two-Tone cardstock, sticker sheet, titles, sentiments, journalling labels and die cut embellishing pieces.
