In May I was invited to join a fun Card Swap Chain. It operates similar to a game we used to play as kids, where one person whispers a message to the first person, then the second person tries to remembers the message to pass onto the next person and so on. At the end after it being passed around the group, you usually end up with a completely different message.
It's a similar concept but with CASEing (Copying And Selectively Editing) cards. Though it took me a few rounds to grasp the entire concept and how it worked with cards, it was a lot of fun and so interesting to see how others in the group interpreted people's designs and made it their own.
In the first round, each of us designed a card and sent it on the next person on the list. That person then CASEd our card and sent it on to the next person on the list and so on, until it went all the way around the ten participants and the final version came back to the original creator.
The first card in this chain was created by Sharni Green. My suggestion is that you start at her blog post, then click through the blog hop list, so you can see the evolution of the original design.
My card you see below was round 8 (the 8th version) which means that there had been quite a few interpretations of the original card.
For my project, I changed the orientation to landscape but kept the diagonal design of the Designer Series Paper.
I used the Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper with the Label Me Grateful Bundle. The cool drink glasses and citrus slice were easy to fussy cut from the paper to embellish this card.
Full product list for my card and direct shopping link can be found HERE.

Sometimes the cards in the Card Swap Chain change so much that if you only saw the first and last cards, you wouldn't realise that that they were on the same chain and been CASEd from the original card. This one though actually kept quite true to the original, though each one is unique in its own way.
Hop around to see everyone's awesome versions of Sharni's card. Click on the names below.
