Kintsugi, literally "golden joinery", is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, silver, or platinum, highlighting the cracks and breaks rather than concealing them. It's a practice that embodies the philosophy of wabi-sabi, finding beauty in imperfection and appreciating the history and resilience of an object. Instead of discarding broken items, kintsugi encourages repair and celebrates the object's new form, often making it more valuable and unique than before.
The Kintsugi Inspiration Suite Collection is inspired by the beautiful Japanese art of Kintsugi and it is an absolutely stunning suite of products. I created this card using the suite, with the addition of the Spotlight on Nature Dies for the circle to make the vessels really pop.
The layout I have used to create this card is one that I have gone back to time and time again because it's such a great one to showcase different products and is quick and easy to create.
