Floral Delight Make 'n Take Card

Recently I held a fun Catalogue Launch Party, to celebrate the release of the new January-April 2025 Mini Catalogue. As part of the event, my guests created two beautiful Make 'n Take projects. You can see the new Mini Catalogue on my Blog Home page or click HERE.

This simple, yet elegant card below is one of the Make 'n Takes and uses the very pretty Floral Delight Suite Collection from pages 33-37 of the January-April 2025 Mini Catalogue.

With some two-step stamping and easy layering you can create this gorgeous card too.

The floral image has been stamped twice - once up the correct way and once upside down to create the garland of flowers.

Follow these steps to use the two-step stamping technique to create the bouquet of flowers

  1. Stamp the flower detail stamp from the Delightful Wishes stamp set in full strength Daffodil Delight ink onto the front of the Basic White Card Base. Position the stamped image so that it's at a slight angle.
  2. Stamp the flower solid petal stamp in 2nd generation Daffodil Delight ink, first stamping off quickly onto scrap paper, then overlaid over the flower detail stamp. It's easy to line the stamps up as they are clear Photopolymer.
  3. Stamp the branch in Pecan Pie ink, lining it up just under the top flower and straddling the bottom flower.
  4. Stamp the leaves in Granny Apple Green ink, lining up with the branch (you might need to practise a few times on scrap paper, like I did).
  5. Stamp a 3-5 little star bursts in Pool Party Ink around the flowers, to fill in blank space.
  6. Turn the card around 180 degrees and repeat the steps above.
  7. Stamp the "Wishing" greeting onto the Crumb Cake sentiment label, using Pecan Pie ink.
  8. Stamp the "You A Happy Birthday" greeting onto the Daffodil Delight die cut label, using Pecan Pie ink.
  9. Using a Sponge Dauber, apply Pecan Pie ink around the edges of the Crumb Cake sentiment label.
  10. Assemble card as shown in image. See video for full tutorial and tips for creating this card.
