Adorably Cute Reindeer Card

There is someone serene about deer, don't you think? They seem to be such sweet animals, especially the does and fawns (like Bambi). I love that at Christmas time there are always lots of deer and reindeer depicted in Christmas papers, ornaments and even stamp sets. They are not the true meaning of Christmas of course, but they are beautiful.

Stampin' Up!® has a few reindeer products available now as I write this blog post. There is the Reindeer Days Suite Collection in the Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalogue, Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack, also in the Mini Catalogue, a couple of reindeer in the Joyful Images Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and some in the Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper pack. Also in the new Reindeer Memories Scrapbooking Workshop Kit, Stamp Set, Designer Series Paper, stickers and there is also coordinating Two-Tone Cardstock pack. Then there is also the Graceful Deer stamp set and the Grassy Grove stamp sets available too. 

So there are lots to choose from that can be used all year round, not just at Christmas.

For this project I have featured the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper with the new coordinating Reindeer Memories Two-Tone Cardstock from the Stampin' Up!®  September 2024 Scrapbooking Brochure.

For the layout of this card, I was inspired by one of the Scrapbook layouts in the Reindeer Memories Scrapbooking Workshop Kit, as seen below.

I also used the Stylish Shapes Dies to die cut the deer in the Designer Series Paper and to create the label.

The Two-Tone Cardstock was used for the Real Red strips top and bottom using the full strength colour side and also for the red layer mat under the reindeers, using the reverse side with the softer shade of red.

I embellished my card with some of the White Loose Snowflakes and a bow of Real Red & White Baker's Twine.

Layer 5 - Reindeer Memories Two-Tone Cardstock (light Real Red, reverse side ) - 6.4cm x 6.4cm

Focal image - Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper - (Doe & Fawn) - die cut with 2nd largest square 6cm x 6cm from Stylish Shapes Dies

Sentiment - Very Vanilla Cardstock - 3.5cm x 9cm - trim as required - see video for tips.
