Thoughtful Wishes Dearest Friend Card

This week during my Live Creative Time I created this gorgeous floral card using the Thoughtful Journey Suite Collection. 

I CASED (Copy And Selectively EditeD) one of my original Christmas card designs, which was in different colours and Designer Series Paper. This time I wanted to change it up to create a floral card and I was really happy with how it turned out. I just love the purples of the Petunia Pop with the Blackberry Bliss.

Thoughtful Wishes Dearest Friend Card

This card was a really easy design to create with different sized layers, adding a sentiment label or tag. I decorated it with a stamped and die cut foliage piece and an additional die cut floral piece, which I brushed with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to give it some bling. I added some ribbon and embellishments and the card was complete. The Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper created the background scenery just beautifully.

A tip for using a larger tag on your project, is to fill it out with some stamped images below the sentiment. 

I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink, then using Petunia Pop ink, stamped off the flower stamp twice onto scrap paper to stamp in 3rd generation onto the tag, for a more subtle effect.
