Embossed Painted Trees Christmas Card

How exciting that Stampin' Up!® has a new Mini Catalogue coming! The September - December 2024 Mini Catalogue will be live on 4th September 2024. 

There are so many beautiful new products coming and I have fallen in love with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder from the Season of Elegance Suite. 

On my Weekly Live Creative Time I shared an unboxing of some of the new products and then made this card. (see video below)

Embossed Painted Trees Christmas Card

I embossed the Basic White Cardstock with the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder, using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I then used a Sponge Dauber to rub some Old Olive ink and Garden Green ink over the embossed trees. I love how the embossed images pick up the colour and brings out different tones on the trees. 

I then used Basic Beige ink with a Blending Brush to apply ink around all the edges and a light coat over the exposed white areas in between and around the trees.

I then layered the embossed layer onto a piece of Gold Foil Sheet, then onto the Garden Green Card base.

For the sentiment I used the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, which I stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed in Gold embossing powder. Then I blended Basic Beige ink around the edges of the label with a Blending Brush. 

I folded a piece of ribbon and adhered it to the back of sentiment label and adhered the label with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I finished off my card with the new Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments, which are like clusters of little crystals. They are so sparkly and beautiful.

Card Base - Garden Green Cardstock - 21cm x 14.85cm, scored and folded at 10.5cm

Layer 1 - Gold Foil Sheet - 14.45cm x 10.1cm

Layer 2 - Basic White Cardstock - 14cm x 9.7cm

Sentiment - Basic White Cardstock - 5.1cm x 2.9cm

Ribbon - 11cm
