Layered Christmas Card with Season of Green & Gold Suite

It's never too early to get a start on your Christmas cards. The recent release of the new Online Exclusive products in the Stampin' Up!® Online Store included the Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection. This gorgeous suite is stunning and has many products and elements that can be mixed and matched. I like to call it a "bumper suite" as it contains two stamp sets, two die sets, Designer Series Paper, printed Vellum, Ribbon and Embellishments.

This suite of products can also be used for non-Christmas projects, as many of the stamped images and Designer Series Papers are generic.

I created this card in my weekly Live Creative Time tutorial video, inspired by one of the card sketches on page 22 of the 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue. Once I finished the card, I don't think it really looked like the sketch at all, although the sketch was a great starting point. Do you like to use card sketches for inspiration?

Layered Christmas Card

I really enjoyed creating this card with all the layers and texture. Some of the foliage has been stamped and some has been die cut from the Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper. I love how they can be layered together to add interest to a project.

See all the measurements, supply list and video tutorial below.

Layered Christmas Card

The Designer Series Paper strips are adhered flat to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, to create a 1cm border around all the edges.

There are three layers of dimension on this card, with each label tag being layered upon the one beneath it.

The large Very Vanilla tag is adhered to the Designer Series Paper with Stampin' Dimensionals, then the foliage is arranged and adhered onto the large tag with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Vellum tag is adhered to the matching Very Vanilla tag with Tear & Tape and small dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue beneath the foliage images to hide the glue. The assembled tag is then adhered over the foliage with Stampin' Dimensionals. The bells are adhered to the Vellum tag with Multipurpose Liquid Glue at the tops and a Stampin' Dimensional at the bottom of the large bell.

The sentiment label is adhered over the Vellum Label using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
