Petal Park Polaroids Card

Thank you for joining us for this month's Let's Craft Together Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from Australia who have developed a wonderful friendship through our love of stamping and admiration of each other's creativity.

Each month, one of us takes turn to set a blog hop challenge for us all to participate in. This month's challenge is a Picture Inspiration challenge.

We could choose our own interpretation of this picture, whether that be the colours, images, sketch or other inspiration. It's always fun to take inspiration from photos, images or the things around us. There is  lots of creative inspiration in this blog hop, so be sure to hop along to see the amazing projects that the other members have created to share with you. You will see the list of names below my project.

Petal Park Polaroids Card

This is my card that I created from the picture inspiration. I used the cheerful yellow and white colour combination from the picture and added some Crumb Cake cardstock with embossed splatter. For the flowers I used the Petal Park Stamp Set with the Petal Park Builder Punch, and the Layering Leaves Stamp Set and Bough Punch. The flowers were coloured using a combination of two-step stamping and Stampin' Blends. I created the adorable mini polaroids by cutting a piece of Basic White cardstock into a rectangle, then die cutting a small square from the upper portion using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I then layered a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock behind the cut out.

It was a really fun card to create and I'm sure it will put a smile on the recipients face, with it's cheerful colours and fun design. Thanks to Maheswari for providing the picture inspiration.
