Flowers, nature and texture are things I love when I create handmade card and the Inked Botanicals 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous. So much so that I have designed a class around this Designer Series Paper. See below for class details.
The card I am sharing today is not one of the cards from the class, but rather an additional card I created for my Live Creative Time on Facebook this week. I used some of the left pieces from the class to create this card.
Botanical Prints Happy Thoughts Card
For this card I took inspiration from one of the cards on page 102 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. The one in the catalogue uses different products, but I really liked the layout. I changed it up quite a bit and now it looks like a completely different card.
I used the Nature's Prints Stamp Set, Nature's Prints Dies, Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper, Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon, Iridescent Pastel Gems and White Baker's Twine.
I did some tearing on the left side of the Pool Party cardstock strip and the top of the Crushed Curry Designer Series Paper layer.
The Vellum wreath adds an elegance and softness behind the Gingko Leaf and Foliage with the inked edges of the sentiment label softening this element on the card too.
The Crushed Curry Designer Series Paper layer and the sentiment label were both popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals for added depth on the card.
The Calypso Coral Iridescent Pastel Gems just finish off the card nicely, giving that gorgeous bling and sparkle.

Card Base - Lost Lagoon Cardstock- 21cm x 14.85cm, scored and folded at 10.5cm
Layer - Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper (coloured floral) - 9.2cm x 14.85cm
Side Strip - Pool Party Cardstock - 2.2cm x 8.5cm, tear left long side approx. 0.5cm
Layer - Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper (Crushed Curry) - 7.6cm x 11.8cm, tear top edge approx. 0.5cm
Wreath - Vellum Cardstock - 10.5cm x 10.5cm - Die cut wreath from Nature's Prints Dies
Designer Series Paper Strip - Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper (Calypso Coral leaves) - 4cm x 8.8cm
Gingko Leaf & Foliage - Very Vanilla Cardstock - 9.5cm x 10.5cm, stamp then die cut with coordinating dies.
Ribbon - Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon - 19.5cm, trim ends as needed
Sentiment Label - Basic White Cardstock - 8.5cm x 4.5cm, stamp sentiment and die cut with label die from Nature's Prints Dies.
