Masculine Card with Earthen Elegance

Do you find creating masculine cards challenging?

I have a really lovely card for you today which is great for a masculine card, using the Earthen Elegance Suite Collection.

I needed some masculine "Thinking of You" type cards and I thought that this sentiment let's someone know how valued they are. I think that this is such a lovely validation message.

I have kept the layout very clean and simple, but there is so much beautiful texture in the paper and decorative elements that it makes for a really lovely card. I sponged a little ink around the sentiment label, pot and large fan palm leaf using Sponge Daubers to give them a bit of highlight. Over the Pampas leaves that are sitting in the pot, I lightly brushed some Pebbled Path ink, using a Blending Brush. The Wavy Trim and Brushed Metallic Dots just finished off this project nicely.

I just love the Earthen Elegance Suite so much and it is great for any type of project.

Measurements

Card Base - Gray Granite Cardstock - 21cm x 14.85cm, scored and folded at 10.5cm

Layer 1 - Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper - 14.45cm x 10.1cm

Layer 2 - Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper - 14.14cm x 6cm

Sentiment Label - Basic White Cardstock - 8cm x 5.5cm, die cut with largest label die.

Fan Palm - Crumb Cake Cardstock - 7.5cm x 5.5cm, die cut fan palm (do not need stem)

Pampas Leaves - Basic White Cardstock - 6.5cm x 6.5cm (do not need stems)

Pot - Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper - 3.5cm x 8.5cm, die cut tallest pot, then trim to desired height

Wavy Trim - 14.45cm
