Let's Go Shopping Sweat Treat Shop Card

One of the fun things we do together in my Papercraft Gems team, is Team project Swaps. 

A card or project "swap" is a fun activity where those who participate, create a project, then make multiples of that same project to "swap" with others. When you swap with someone, you get their swap project in return, so you end up with many different projects and lots of creative inspiration. It's really fun and also one of the fun things we can participate in at Stampin' Up!® events as well. 

Let's Go Shopping Sweat Treat Shop Card

For our team swaps this time, we were highlighting products from the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. I chose to use the Let's Go Shopping Bundle from the Les Shoppes Suite collection. The Les Shoppes Suite is such a cute and fun suite to create with and includes the Let's Go Shopping Bundle (stamp set and dies), Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper which is adorable and the Loose Silver Sequins. You can find this suite on pages 30-31 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. 

The stamp set and dies have so many cute little element pieces that you can choose from, to create your scene, from bakery, to bookshop and cafe, or let your imagination run free and use these elements to create your own little buildings and scenes. It's so much fun. 

In my swap project, the focus was on the stamps and dies and keeping a neutral palette, with a little bit of distressing technique to create a little rustic cake shop. How adorable is the lamp post and little park bench!

Measurements and Instructions

Card Base - Very Vanilla - 10.5cm x 29.7cm, scored and folded at 14.85cm

Layer - Crumb Cake - 10.1cm x 14.45cm, emboss with Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. Scissor distress all edges and ink distress with Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad using a Sponge Dauber.

Layer - Garden Green - 7cm x 13.5cm, emboss with Stripes from Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders. Ink distress with Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad using a Sponge Dauber. Wrap Linen thread twice around this layer and tie bow at the left side.

Layer - Copper Clay - 8.9cm x 10.5cm. Ink distress all edges with Copper Clay Classic Stampin' Pad using a Sponge Dauber.

Layer - Very Vanilla - 8.5cm x 10.1cm. Scissor distress two side edges and top edge. Ink distress with Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad using a Sponge Dauber.

Path - Pebbled Path - 8.5cm x 1cm. Ink Distress with Pebbled Path Classic Stampin' Pad using a Sponge Dauber.

Sentiment Label - Very Vanilla - 6cm x 1.3cm. Stamp sentiment in Copper Clay ink. Ink Distress with Copper Clay Classic Stampin Pad using a Sponge Dauber.

Shop - Crumb Cake - 7.4cm x 10.5cm. Stamp shop images using Early Espresso Classic Stampin Pad. Die cut with coordinating dies. 

Sign - Boho Blue - 6.5cm x 2.5cm. Stamp sign details using Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin' Pad. Carefully colour inside the stripes using Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blend. Die cut with coordinating die.

Die Cut elements:

Lamp Post - Basic Black - 1.5cm x 6.5cm

Vines - Garden Green - 6.5cm x 4cm

Bench - Copper Clay - 4cm x 2.5cm. Ink the edges with Copper Clay Classic Stampin' Pad using a Sponge Dauber.

Awning - Boho Blue - 4cm x 2cm (solid piece)

Awning - Misty Moonlight - 4cm x 2cm (detailed piece)
