Let's Go Fishing Double Flap Fold Card

This Double Flap Fold Card looks amazing in any Designer Series Paper. It's a great layout to create a masculine card, using the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper. This would be a great card to create for Father's Day or a masculine birthday.

Let's Go Fishing Double Flap Fold Card

The small square card on the front of the larger card is a fun addition, as the flaps all interlock together with the ribbon holding the whole card closed. The ribbon is adhered between the base layer and first layer of the small card, then wrapped around the back of the card. See last image.

The large fish on the front was fussy cut from the Designer Series Paper and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped with the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set and die cut with the coordinating Sentiment Silhouettes Dies, then adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped with Charming Sentiments Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink and the fish was fussy cut from the Designer Series Paper and adhered flat.

Let's Go Fishing Double Flap Fold Card - inside of card base

The Very Vanilla inside layer can be stamped with your sentiment stamps, or left blank to write your own message. I added a 1cm strip of the Let's Go Fishing paper to the bottom of the insert.

The Wild Wheat Layer on the back was added after the ribbon had been wrapped around and attached to the back of the card. You need to wrap the ribbon with the card closed to allow for closure over the folds of the card. See video below for tips.
