Zoo Crew Celebrate You Card

How adorable is the Zoo Crew Suite Collection!!! If you haven't seen it yet, you can check it out in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. I love that the Designer Series Paper has 6 themes on each of the different pages. It's so much fun. Some of the images can be cut with the coordinating Zany Zoo Dies, while others can be easily fussy cut with scissors. The animal images in the Zany Zoo Stamp Set are adorable too and have sentiments for different occasions. I also love the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack with the Lemon Lime Twist and Petal Pink ribbons. They are so pretty.

I have a class coming up using this suite, where we will create 6 cute cards, so I thought this week I would create some additional cards on my Live Creative Time. Here is the card I made on my Monday Live Creative Time.

Zoo Crew Celebrate You Card

I recently shared a fun Mystery Challenge with my team members during our monthly team gathering, so I decided to use my mystery challenge layout for this card too and added an additional square layer for placement of my focal image. 

Measurements

Card Base - Basic White Cardstock - 21cm x 14.85cm, scored and folded at 10.5cm

Layer 1 - Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock - 10.1cm x 14.45cm

Layer 2 -  Basic White Cardstock - 9.7cm x 14cm

Pool Party Cardstock strip - 4cm x 10.5cm

Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper strip - 3.5cm x 10cm

Square - Basic White Cardstock - 7cm x 7cm, die cut with Stylish Shapes Dies

Sentiment Label - Basic White Cardstock - 7cm x 2cm

Flowers - Basic White Cardstock scraps

  1. Adhere the Lemon Lime Twist layer to the Basic White Card Base.
  2. Use the Zany Zoo Dies to die cut several flowers in each size and adhere them to the Basic White layer, trimming the ones that hang over the edge. 
  3. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere the coloured cardstock and Designer Series Paper rectangle strips in a staggered format. 
  4. Die cut a Basic White square using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Using a Blending Brush, add some Petal Pink ink to the centre of the square. Adhere the square to the rectangle strips with Stampin' Dimensionals. 
  5. Using Paper Snips scissors, fussy cut the goat from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper and add some extra colour to the hooves, tail, horns and wooden spoon, using Stampin' Blends. Adhere the goat to the square using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp sentiment onto Basic White strip and punch each end with Banners Pick A Punch. Use a Sponge Dauber to add Lemon Lime Twist ink around all the edges of the sentiment label. 
  7. Cut a length of Petal Pink Ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack, fold in half and secure with a Mini Glue Dot to the reverse side of the right hand end of the sentiment label. Trim ends of the ribbon. 
  8. Adhere sentiment label below the square, using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  9. Embellish the card using Rhinestone Basic Jewels
