Hello Bright & Beautiful Card

Hi there and welcome to my blog today.

Do you ever see some really cute but bright paper and love it, but then wonder how you will use it?

I love the bright and fun colours of the NEW Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper and I wanted to create a card with it, but I didn't want it to look like a birthday or celebratory type card.

Hello Bright & Beautiful Card

Vellum works great to soften bold or bright colours and patterns and worked perfectly with this Designer Series Paper. The Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper is part of the Bright & Beautiful Suite Collection in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue. I wanted to use the paper to create a "just because" card, rather than a birthday or celebratory card, so I teamed it up with the Sending Smiles stamp set and Sending dies. I think it turned out really pretty and will bring a smile to someone's face when they receive it.

Measurements

Card Base - Basic White Cardstock - 21cm x 14.85cm, scored and folded at 10.5cm

Layer - Bubble Bath Cardstock - 14.85cm x 9cm

Layer - Lemon Lolly Cardstock - 14.85cm x 8.5cm

Layer - Designer Series Paper - 14.85cm x 8.2cm

Vellum Layer - 14.85cm x 6cm

Sending Sentiment - Basic White and Basic Black Cardstock - 10cm x 5cm each

Sentiment label - Basic Black - 7.5cm x 2cm

Flowers - scraps of Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist and Azure Afternoon

Glittered Organdy Ribbon - 16cm length and 20cm for bow (trim as needed)

Rhinestone Basic Jewels - 10 small
