Framed Butterfly Garden Card

Hi and welcome to my Blog today. We are hopping today, which is always fun and full of creative inspiration from all around the world.

There are some really beautiful products and fantastic DISCOUNTS in the Last Chance Products Sale that are retiring very soon, so I wanted to give some of them a last "Hoorah" in our Blog Hop today, before they are gone for good.

We are blog hopping with Kylie and Bruno Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program. We are a group of Demonstrators from all around the world, who train together to learn how to grow and improve our Stampin' Up!® businesses. Each month we share in a fun blog hop together, to share our love of creativity with others and to inspire people to be creative. We have lots of amazing inspiration for you in this hop today.

Be sure to check out all the other blogs in the hop after you have finished here, for lots of amazing creative inspiration. You will see the list below and can click on the names to hop along.

The Butterfly Brilliance and coordinating Brilliant Wings Dies are two of many beautiful products that are retiring on 1st May 2023 and both are discounted by 60% in the Last Chance Products sale. I teamed them up with the Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper (20% off) to create a Butterfly Garden scene. I framed the scene with the Fabulous Frames Dies (30% off) and used the Amazing Thanks Dies (60% off) for the sentiment.

Framed Butterfly Garden Card

I started by adhering a piece of Balmy Blue Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper to the Basic Black Card base.

Next, I cut a piece of the garden scene paper from the Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper and adhered it in the centre of the Blue Designer Series Paper.

I then die cut two large frames in Merry Merlot Cardstock, using the Fabulous Frames Dies. The first frame I adhered flat to the outside edge of the garden paper, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The second frame I adhered with Foam Adhesive Strips over the first frame to give a shadow box effect.

The Butterflies were stamped onto Basic White Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured with Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends. Then die cut and adhered to the garden scene with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. HINT - the blue butterfly is half of a large butterfly that I fussy cut, to give the effect of the side profile of a butterfly.

The Thanks sentiment was created by adhering some Foam Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Basic Black Cardstock, then die cutting the Thanks with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I then went over the Thanks with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and set it aside to dry. Once dried, I adhered it to the card front.

I finished my card by adding some bling, using the Iridescent Pastel Gems.
