Rhino Ready African Sunset Card

For today's card I am sharing my Rhino Ready African Sunset card, using the brand new Rhino Ready Bundle from the Online Exclusives. The Rhino Ready Bundle is a fantastic set that includes the Stamp Set and coordinating Dies.

The three different Rhinos are so adorable, there's great sentiments and I love the shape of the trees in the dies. There are also dies to create background scenery, grass, different types of leaves and even a party hat and blower to create a party Rhino.

Rhino Ready African Sunset Card

I have used several techniques for this card, including masking to create the sun, ink blending for the background using Blending Brushes, heat embossing, colouring with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, die cutting and of course stamping. I have also used the Layering Circle Dies for this card.

I love combining the masking and blending techniques to create a unique background. In this case I wanted to create an African Sunset and include the silhouette of the trees with the cute Rhino and little bird in the foreground.

Measurements

Card Base - Crushed Curry Cardstock - 21cm x 14.85cm, scored and folded at 10.5cm

Layer - Real Red Cardstock - 14.2cm x 9.9cm

Layer - Basic White Cardstock - 13.8cm x 9.5cm

Sunset Background, Rhino and Bird - Basic White Cardstock - 14.85cm x 10.5cm

Trees - Basic Black Cardstock - 11cm x 10cm

Sentiment Label - Basic Black - 9.5cm x 1.9cm

Ribbon - Real Red - 12cm strip & 10cm for bow
