The Dainty Delight Stamp Set and Dies are so pretty and I had fun this week doing some watercolouring with this bundle. The coordinating Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper from Sale-A-Bration makes the card even more beautiful and is available for FREE with a $90 purchase, until 28th February 2023.
Watercoloured Dainty Delight Card
It was really easy to colour these images using my ink pads, a clear block and my Water Painter brushes. I first stamped the floral image onto a 5cm x 9cm piece of Basic White Cardstock, in Mossy Meadow ink. I stamped the leafy image in Mossy Meadow onto the right side of my Basic White card front piece. I then dabbed my Mossy Meadow ink pad and Rich Razzleberry ink pad onto opposite corners of a clear block and diluted the ink with some water from my Water Painter. I then picked up some of the ink with the brush of my Water Painter and coloured the images. In between colours I cleaned off my brush on some paper towel. I then die cut the floral image with the coordinating Dainty Delight Die. For the tall purple flower, I did a watercolour wash on a small scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, then went over a few sections with a bit more ink to give some colour variation. Once this piece had dried, I then die cut the floral shape with Dainty Delight Dies and die cut a flower stem from a scrap of Mossy Meadow cardstock.
