Taco Fiesta Birthday Card

It's a Taco Fiesta!!! Hi and welcome to my blog today. I have a super cute card to share with you today that I made for my team swap card. This time our team swap was based around the new January-April 2023 Mini Catalogue. We each chose a product or products as our focus, designed our individual projects, then made multiples of the same project and sent one out to each person in the swap. We then received a card back from each person in the swap and ended up with a number of different cards in return. Card and project swaps are so much fun.

Here is the fun fold card I created as my swap card, using the Taco Fiesta stamp set.

I stamped my images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them with Stampin' Blends. The background corn chips were stamped in Daffodil Delight ink onto Crushed Curry cardstock.

Tips - colour your images first, then stamp the faces afterwards, so that the faces don't smudge. Also because these stamps have fine line images and detail, don't press the stamp too hard. Just gentle even pressure down, then up.

The border was created with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder and the Basic Borders Dies. The circle and banner were die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

This stamp set is so cute with it's Mexican inspired images. It's so fun to create little characters with the added accessory stamps and cute little faces. There are many options with this stamp set and I am excited to make some more cards, including using the piñata and lollies stamps.
