Hi and welcome to my blog. Today we are blog hopping with the Crafty Collaborations group for our Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month we are focussing on two-step stamping.
Two step stamping is a great technique where you use two coordinating stamps layered over the top of one another to result in a two-tone or dual-coloured image.
For my project, I used the Trimming The Tree stamp set with the exclusive Tree Trimming Dies. For the month of September 2022, Stampin' Up!® has six different stamp sets that they have released coordinating dies for. These dies and bundled prices are for a limited time only for the month of September and so I thought it was a great idea to showcase both the two-step stamping technique and the Perfect Partners promotion.

To achieve two-tone effect on the foliage of the tree, I used my Stamparatus to first stamp the darker foliage in Shaded Spruce ink. I then used the detail stamp, to create the lighter foliage by using the same colour, stamping off first onto scrap paper then onto the tree image, overlaid on the main image.
