Stylish Sketches with Rings of Love Card

Hi there. It's great to have you visiting my blog. Today we are blog hopping, which is always fun and you will get lots of creative inspiration. I have a lovely nature-themed card for you today for our hop. Read on for all the details.

The theme of our blog hop is thank you cards and so I set to creating a lovely thank you card using some of the free Sale-A-Bration products that I hadn't had a chance to play with yet.

I chose to use the Stylish Sketches stamp set and the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper. Each of these products are available for FREE with a $90 AUD order until 31st August 2022. I love the sketched images which gives the feeling of movement in the images. Stylish Sketches with Rings of Love Card

I just love these little male and female Mallard ducks. They are so adorable. Notice the male is more colourful than the female, as in a lot of bird species. I found a photo on the internet to try to get the colours as close as possible to their real colours. I used various colours of Stampin' Blends to colour the ducks.

Measurements:

Card base: Crumb Cake - 29.7cm x 10.5cm (scored and folded at 14.85cm)

Matt Layer: Evening Evergreen - 10.5cm x 12.5cm

Rings of Love Designer Series Paper - 10.5cm x 12.1cm and fussy cut two tree rings

Sentiment Label: 9.5cm x 3.5cm - snip a banner into the left side of label.

Scalloped Circle - Evening Evergreen - 7cm x 7cm

Focal image Circle - Thick Basic White - 7cm x 7cm

Bakers Twin Essentials Pack - Crumb Cake - wrap around card front twice and tie bow on left.

Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels - 5 various sizes

** Be sure to dauber the edges of the Designer Series Paper, tree rings, sentiment label and the focal image before adhering everything together. I did some of it the hard way on the video, doing it later, as an after-thought. It was a good way to show you some tips and tricks though.
