Rustic He's The Man Masculine Card

 Hi and welcome to my blog today. It's so great to have you visit. 

Do you struggle to find nice cards for the men in your life? I know I do! So today I am sharing with you an awesome rustic masculine card, created with the He's The Man Designer Series Paper from the He's The Man Suite of products. Believe it or not, this is a non-stamping card!

I love to distress my projects and this card was a great project to distress. I used scissor distressing on the first layer, tearing technique on the second and third layer, then ink distressing on everything to really grunge it up and make my card look more rustic. Absolutely love it! These techniques turn a basic layout into a stepped-up project and the results are awesome.

The He's The Man Designer Series Paper is awesome and includes two sheets of die cut images and sentiments, as you can see on my card. The pack also contains 2 sheets each of 5 double-sided designs, of which I used three coordinating patterns. I used Soft Suede ink on this card with a Sponge Dauber to ink distress the edges of all the ephemera pieces, the Designer Series Paper and the edges of the card base. The addition of the Baker's Twine and Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots just finished off this card.
