Fun in the Sun with Hippest Hippos

Hi Friends and welcome to my blog today.

I have a super cute card for you today for our Fun in the Sun Blog Hop with the Crafty Collaborations group. Once you have checked out my project for this hop, be sure to take a look at the other blogs in the hop for more amazing creative inspiration.

I have used the super cute Hippest Hippos stamp set and Hippo dies to create this fun card for my great-nephew's first birthday. These little hippos are enjoying the warm weather, splashing around in their little tub, as they celebrate a very special birthday.

The stamp set alone is adorable with three different hippos and some cute sentiments. Add to that the dies with all it's little pieces and you can create some really fun scenes for lots of occasions. 

In my card, I included the Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper, Old Olive Ribbon from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I coloured the Hippos with Stampin' Blends and did a little inking around the tub and grass using Sponge Daubers.
