Paradise Palms Tropical Card

Hi there. It's great to have you visiting my blog. Today we are blog hopping, which is always fun and you will get lots of creative inspiration.

I am participating in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program monthly Blog Hop, with other Demonstrators from around the world. We are all training together to learn how to improve and build our Stampin' Up!®  businesses. Each month we hop together to share our projects and offer you some amazing creative inspiration.
After you have finished here on my blog, be sure to hop along to the other Demonstrator's Blogs for some more awesome projects. You will see the list below.

Here on the East Coast of Australia, we've been hit with a cold snap to start off our winter season. It's not usually so cold at the beginning of the season. So, I thought it would be nice to focus on some nice warm tropical places, instead of thinking about how cold it is right now.
I posted about this theme and shared some photos on my Facebook page on Saturday, as I reminisced about holidays we had taken a few years ago to Hawaii and Fiji.

In April 2016, my husband and I took our three children on their first overseas holidays to Hawaii.
I took this photo on Waikiki Beach, as we watched the beautiful sunset over the ocean. It was spectacular.

This next photo was taken in Fiji in May 2018 when my husband and I took our two girls on an amazing trip, which was filled with wonderful culture and experiences. I just love the palm trees silhouetted against the sunset sky.

So for my card for this blog hop, I have created a fun tropical card using the Paradise Palms Bundle to send as a thank you to my customers this month. As I made this card, it reminded me of those wonderful holidays to Hawaii and Fiji and although the colours aren't quite the same, this card reminded me of those beautiful sunsets.

I have used a few different techniques on this card and you can see how I created it on my video below. At the beginning of the video I chatted with my viewers about some paradise locations they had been to as well. It was a fun chat before we got creating. Fell free to skip through the chat if you want to get straight to the project.

If you have visited a beautiful tropical location, I would love to hear about it in the comments below. Perhaps you can give me some ideas for future destinations to add to my list.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today, now please hop along to the other blogs for more amazing creative inspiration.
