Wild & Sweet Panda Card

Today I am participating in Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program monthly Blog Hop, with other Demonstrators from around the world. We are all training together to learn how to improve and build our Stampin' Up!®  businesses. Each month we hop together to share our projects and offer you some amazing creative inspiration.

Our theme is actually "Thank You" cards, however this month, I created a couple of these "Hang In There" cards instead, as an encouragement to send to friends and family who are going through difficult times at the moment. You could of course change the sentiment to Thank You, or any other sentiment really, depending on what you need at the time. Sometimes I like to leave the sentiment off until I know who I am sending the card to, that way I can tailor it to my needs.

Wild & Sweet Panda Card

I just love this cute panda, the racoon and of course the Aussie koala in the Wild & Sweet stamp set. They are adorable and so easy to create with, as you can see in my photo. I have coloured my image using Stampin' Blends, which are alcohol markers. This image didn't need too much blending of colours so it made it super easy to colour. The "Hang in There" sentiment comes from the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and I thought it suited this panda perfectly.

The woodgrain layer was created by running Crumb Cake cardstock through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I then rubbed Crumb Cake ink over the the embossed design with a Sponge Dauber to make the woodgrain really stand out.

The Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper in the background is stunning and has to be seen to be fully appreciate. Check it out in my video.
