Waves of the Ocean at Sunset

Have you seen the sunset over the ocean? It's an awesome and beautiful sight.

Here on the East Coast of Australia we actually get the sunrise over the ocean, whereas over on the West Coast, they get the sunset.

I have wonderful memories of watching the sunset over the ocean in Hawaii on our family holiday a few years ago. It was my favourite time of the day and it was so beautiful to watch. I still love to pull out the photos every so often. 

The card I that I made on my Facebook Live this week reminds me of those sunsets in Hawaii.

The Waves of the Ocean Collection contains a stamp set, dies, Designer Series Paper, Foil Sheets pack and Embellishments. These are available as a collection, stamp and die bundle, or individually, until 2nd May 2022. I will list all the options below in the product list.

Waves of the Ocean at Sunset

For my card, I used the Waves of the Inspiration stamp set with my Stamparatus and various ink colours to get the desired colours of the waves and the sunset. You will see a full list of colours below. You can also watch the video to see how I created my card and the techniques I used.

The sentiment label comes from the coordinating Waves Dies. I can't wait to use the other dies in the set that create awesome waves and clouds.

For the twine under the label, I used Basic White Baker's Twine and separated the fibres (which took some patience) and just used two strands together, so that it wasn't too heavy. It turned out well and I think I will use this method more often.
