Island Holiday Projects

Hi and welcome to my blog. Today I am joining in a fun Blog Hop with Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world. Our theme for this hop is Vacation.

I have been creating with one of the new kits from the Stampin' Up!® Kits Collection. It's called A Little Smile Card Kit. This is an all-inclusive card kit that makes 8 fun gift cards. Everything you need to create these cards is in the kit, even adhesives.

As I have been creating with this kit I have been reminiscing about our family vacations, or as we say in Australia holidays, to Hawaii and Fiji over the past few years. We had such wonderful vacations and adventures. The beautiful palm trees, sands, rolling surf, crystal clear waters of Fiji and the numerous star fish and sea life we saw on these trips is unforgettable and forever imprinted on my mind. So to create the cards from this kit has been an absolute delight.

I love the cute size of these gift cards and the kit also comes with a little carry wallet to keep them in. I plan to keep these in my handbag to hand out to people I come into contact with who I want to thank or uplift. The sentiment stamps in this kit are just perfect for that. I already have plans to hand some of them to the lovely receptionists at my Physiotherapist clinic and to the Physiotherapist herself.

A Little Smile Card Kit plus Island Holiday card

Did you notice my large Island Holiday card? I was thinking outside the box.
I wanted to show how you can use elements from the kit to create other projects too. I added some layers to one of the kit cards and used the stamps from the kit to create a full a sized card. Oh and I added some pearls too because pearls just go with island themed cards, don't you think?
