Trio of Pansy Petals card

Welcome to this month's Share it Sunday Blog Hop. I am hopping today with other Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world. Once you have finished visiting my blog, be sure to hop along to the other blogs in the hop for lots of awesome creative inspiration.

My team, The Papercraft Gems, recently held their first Team Swap, focussed on new products from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. This was the first all team swap I had hosted, although I have participated in other swaps many times myself. It's always fun swapping projects and getting lots of new ideas.

My project for this blog is a project that I CASEd from one of my Team Members, Robyn Felangue. I loved Robyn's swap card using the Pansy Petals Suite products, so I decided to use it as the basis for my card but make a few of my own changes.

Robyn had used the beautiful Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper for the background layer and the Pansy Dies to die cut some of the large flowers from the Designer Series Paper and also to die cut the leaves from Shaded Spruce cardstock. The sentiment is from the Pansy Patch stamp set with the label being from the Hippo & Friends Dies.

I CASE'd Robyn's layout, then used a different paper from the same Designer Series Paper pack for the background layer and added an additional layer of Evening Evergreen. I used the Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the sentiment label.
For the flowers I used the Pansy Patch Stamp Set and Pansy Dies, which was a lot of fun. The pansies were stamped in 4 different layers to create the different colours of the pansies. The leaves were stamped in two layers with two different colours.

My flowers are on three different layers for dimension.
I finished off my card with a cute Bumblebee Trinket and some 2021-2022 In Colour Jewels.

If you would like to see how I created this card, particularly the stamped pansies, you can watch the videos below. There are two videos, due to technical issues during the first filming (my battery died - arghhh), so the continuation is on the second video.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today. Now please be sure to hop along to the next blog for some more awesome inspiration.

Below you will find a list of all the products I used to create this card. Note that all of the Pansy Petal Suite Collection products that I have used can be purchased using just one code, which makes it super easy. I have listed the Suite Collection first, then the additional products after that.
