Corner Bouquet Thank You

On Monday during my weekly Facebook Live, I made two thank you cards using the FREE Corner Bouquet stamp set from Sale-A-Bration. The first card (pictured below) was using a technique which I will describe below and the second card was a Simple Stamping card. 

This was the first time I had used this stamp set and I have fallen in love with it.

This is the first card that I created using the Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper with the Corner Bouquet Stamp Set. I love the pretty colours in this one.

To colour the stamp, I used the Direct Marker to Stamp Technique and using my Stampin' Write Markers, coloured directly onto the red rubber stamp. After huffing onto the stamp a couple of times, I then stamped the image onto the white cardstock. I love how this technique gives an almost watercolour effect, as it softens the ink colours.

The Thank You stamp comes from the Heal Your Heart Stamp Set, which is another FREE Sale-A-Bration item. This stamp set has some beautiful sentiments.
