Pretty Poinsettias

Thanks for visiting my blog today.
I am part of a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are training together in Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Group Program, to grow and improve our Stampin' Up! Businesses.

Each month we have been joining in a fun Blog Hop together, sharing our creativity with each other and with many people around the world. Today is our last Hop together for this year's training group 2019-2020.
After viewing my Blog, be sure to check out the blogs of the other Demonstrators in the list below to see some awesome projects and gain loads of creative inspiration. Just click on the names to hop along.

I love it each year when we start to see Poinsettia flowers start to appear in the stores. It usually means Christmas is coming.
Poinsettias remind me of my first ever overseas trip with my husband when we went to Hawaii in December, 30 years ago. The streets of Waikiki were beautifully decorated like nothing I have ever seen before and of course there were poinsettias everywhere.

This year in the Stampin' Up!® August - December 2020 Mini Catalogue, is the gorgeous Poinsettia Place Suite, which is bumper full of gorgeous products.

I created this card by stamping the different sized Poinsettia petal images and leaves, using tone on tone colour, then die cut them and layered them together. It was so easy to put together and the result is so effective. I added the Beaded Pearl embellishments to the flower centres, which gave them that added elegance. Lastly I tucked the silver sprigs in under the flowers and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The Plush Poinsettia Specialty paper is so gorgeous with its flocked design on vellum. It comes in 3 difference designs in the pack. The Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper has so many beautiful designs and for this card I chose the wood grain design.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto Old Olive Cardstock, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then punched the label with the Banners Pick A Punch and using a sponge dauber, inked some Old Olive ink around the edges.
Below is the list of products I have used for this project. Just click on the images to shop in my online store. Remember to use my September Host Code JJ2JPRPB so that I can send you a thank you.
