Parisian Blossoms Fancy Fold Card

Have you tried making fancy fold cards? They are a lot of fun.

This week on my Facebook Live I made a Fancy Fold card using the Parisian Blossoms Suite, which is sadly retiring on 2nd June 2020.

This fancy fold card base was inspired by Patty Bennett in the USA. I re-worked the measurements into metric measurements for our A4 cardstock here in Australia.

I used the Parisian Blossoms Suite to create this gorgeous card. I'm going to miss this suite when it retires on 2nd June. Get this suite now, before it's gone forever!

I also used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the rectangle panels

To create the basic Fancy Fold Card, you will need:

1 piece Designer Series Paper (DSP) - 30.5cm x 14.2cm

1 piece of coordinating coloured cardstock - 14.85cm x 10.5cm

Bone Folder

Tear & Tape

• Score DSP at 20.6cm, 12.6cm & 4.6cm using your Stampin' Trimmer and fold like an accordion fold. 
• Closed DSP measurement will be 14.2cm x 9.9cm.
• Run your Bone Folder along each scored line to form a nice crisp fold. This is called burnishing.
• Using Tear & Tape, adhere the largest section of the DSP to the Cardstock, leaving a 3mm border, so that the DSP folds open to the left hand side.
• Decorate as desired. I used the Parisian Blossom Suite products.

This Fancy Fold Card can form 4 different types of cards depending on how you adhere each layer. For the card I have made here, I left all the layers open.
