Pretty Pink Flowering Foils Card

This is my first blog in a while. For those who don’t know, my beautiful Mum passed away four weeks ago, so I took a little break from everything for a while. My grieving continues, however Mum would want me to be strong and carry on, so here I am, back at my blogging and back into my business. So let’s get back on track then.

My card that I’m sharing today was inspired by the very lovely Patty Bennett, of PattyStamps.com. Patty makes absolutely gorgeous projects and when I saw her Flowering Foils card I knew I had to CASE it (Copy And Selectively Edit). 

Here is my take on Patty’s card. As with any card I CASE, I've made changes to the original to make the card my own.

The Flowering Foils DSP is so easy to colour in any colour you like, using your favourite colouring medium.

For this card I used a sponge Brayer with three ink colours, Flirty Flamingo, Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride to create an ombre effect background. I created a second piece as well, that I used to fussy cut the flowers.

I used a Pearlized Doily and different dies to create the layers and incorporated the NEW Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the 2020 Mini Catalogue for the sentiment label.

I always say that no card is complete without ribbon and bling, so I finished of my card with some gorgeous Champagne Rhinestones.
