Do you like to take your craft with you on holidays? I do! I miss my creative time if I don’t take it with me.
Currently I am away interstate visiting with my Mum. She is 85 now and resides in an aged care facility. There are a lot of activities in the home, which Mum likes to participate in when she is feeling up to it, but she does sleep a fair bit too. I utilise the quiet times by crafting, while she naps. Her tray table in her room is my work surface, which is a small space, so I keep everything compact and organised.
I usually take along my basic tool kit, paper trimmer, adhesives, black inks, Stampin’ Shammy, a Stamp Set and my water colour pencils. This time I have also brought along the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Cards and Memories & More Specialty Cards and Envelopes.
I made this card yesterday for my Aunty, which I can give to her tomorrow when she comes to visit Mum. I love catching up with my extended family when I am here.
For the inside, I used one of the Memories & More journaling cards to make a pretty insert to write my greeting.
This card was a really quick and easy card to make, with minimal supplies. I love that the Memories & More Cards can be used for both memory keeping and card making.
Have you tried them yet?
