Daisy Lane Sunflowers

Have you seen the Daisy Lane Stamp set and Coordinating Medium Daisy Punch from the new Annual Catalogue?
Did you know you can save 10% when you buy them together as a Bundle?

Last Saturday I held a card making class using this beautiful Bundle and we made three gorgeous cards with it.

For one of the cards, I designed a rustic country layout using the large and medium Daisy Punches to create sunflowers, instead of daisies.
I based this card on a scrapbooking layout I had created many, many years ago of my son when he was really little (he is now 22).

For the sunflower centres and on each side of the sentiment label, I used different sized cardstock buttons which I cut from the Arts & Crafts Dies.
The leaves were cut from the Magnolia Memory dies and Nature’s Roots dies.
The Smile sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso ink, using the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and then punched from the new Timeless Label Punch.

I sponged the edges of each of the flowers with Crumb Cake ink, using a Sponge Dauber.
The twine bows were made using bundles of individually separated strands from the Crumb Cake coloured Nature’s Twine.
The wood grain paper was from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I really enjoyed creating this card and hope it has inspired you to be creative too.
