My Mother, My Friend

With Mother’s Day approaching this weekend here in Australia, I wanted to make this gorgeous card for my Mum. The original design was created by Terri Gaines, but of course with any card I CASE, I’ve made a few changes to make it my own.

I just love the beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue. Sadly it will be retiring soon, along with the very pretty Powder Pink Ruffled Ribbon and the Powder Pink Cardstock that I have used.

For the sentiments I have used the Strong & Beautiful cling stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue and the lovely Tufted Embossing Folder for the background. I have also used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Circle Dies.

This card has a hidden panel on the front, which adds a fun surprise element to the card.

Under the fun panel I have used the Be Mine Stitched Famelits Dies for the heart.

I think the gorgeous Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper dresses up the inside of the card beautifully. I just love, love, love this paper.

I'm so happy with this card and I'm sure my Mum will love it too.
