All Geared Up!

I am part of a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world who are training together in Kylie Bertucci’s Demonstrator Support Program 2018-2019 to grow and improve our Stampin’ Up! Businesses.

You’ve may have heard me say it before, but I often struggle with masculine cards.

However, I just loved playing with the Classic Garage Suite from the 2019 Occasions catalogue to create a birthday card for my son's 22nd birthday.

I used the Garage Gears Thinlits Dies in Bronze and Silver Metallic Foil cardstock as the focal point of this card. This grungy look is very different from my usual pretty, floral cards, but I like how it turned out and it was fun to create.
The background piece was created with silver and copper embossing powders, on a piece of Basic Gray cardstock.
The silver metallic corners were created using the Layering Square Framelits Dies.

To create the Birthday Wishes sentiment I used the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and the Well Written Framelits dies with the Classic Label Punch and Everyday Label punch, adding bronze Metallic Brads and Metallic Thread. 
Inside the card I used a sentiment from the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set.
