BBQ Apron Birthday Card

Don't know about your husband/partner, but my hubby loves nothing better than a good Aussie BBQ.
That being the case I decided to make him a BBQ Apron card for his birthday, a couple of weeks ago.

In keeping with the BBQ theme, I also gave him a voucher for a BBQ School cooking class (yes there is such a thing as BBQ School in Australia). Don't get me wrong, he does cook a good BBQ dinner, but I thought he might enjoy learning a few new skills on the barbie.

So i got some inspiration from Pinterest for this one. There were lots of similar cards out there using the Apron Of Love stamp set and Apron Builder Framelits dies, so I took inspiration from a few different cards and then added my own ideas too.

This is what I came up with and I'm quite happy with this one, as I find that masculine cards are not always easy to design.

My husband really liked his BBQ Apron birthday card, except that he thought that the tongs were two screw drivers in the apron pocket. Lol.
Next time I create a similar card I think I will turn them up the other way and have them hanging half way out of the pocket.
I guess using them as screw drivers could be another use for this die though, so he might be onto something there. Hahaha.
