An Aussie Christmas Card

It's already September and Christmas will here before we know it, so it's time to start on those Christmas and holiday projects.

For my Aussie Christmas Card below I have used the Festive Farmhouse Suite from the new 2018 Holiday Catalogue.

The cute little car reminds me of an old vintage Holden Ute out on the farm. 

I really enjoyed creating the scene on this card of the little Ute, carrying the Christmas pine tree from afar, arriving back at the farm, with the little picket fence complete with Christmas bows and the rolling hills in the distance.

I stamped the images from the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set onto Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, using Black Memento Ink. I then coloured the images using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and die cut the stamped images, picket fence, hills and tiny bows using the Farmhouse Framelits Dies.

I stamped and then cut the Happy Christmas from one of the larger stamps in the set.

I arranged the scene and adhered it to a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock.

I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the card base and the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper for the mat and banner. Added the lovely Striped Burlap Trim then mounted the scene onto the card front.
