90's Theme Night Badges

I will be attending a fun event soon with a few friends and the theme is different Era's.
We have chosen the 90's and as such are dressing in classic denim fashion. Denim on denim, denim and white, triple denim, denim dresses, etc. There are a few of us going together, so we will mix it up a little, while all still carrying the denim theme. For my group of friends I made these cute 90's badges in the denim colour scheme, with red glitz and of course a heart because we loved the 90's.

I have used mostly retiring products to create these badges, but you could of course use current products to create something similar.

The retiring products used - Dapper Denim cardstock, Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, Red Glimmer paper, Large Number Framelits Dies, Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies, Fast Fuse.

Current products used - Big Shot, Layering Circle Framelits Dies, Tombow Multi Purpose glue, Dimensionals, Mini Dimensionals.

Additional items - Safety pins

To hold the die in place, I use a piece of washi tape, to tape the die to the cardstock.

I can cut 3 large scalloped circles from one piece of A5 cardstock, laying them as above.

Here are all the pieces cut and ready to be assembled.

For the base I used a double layer of Dapper Denim cardstock glued together, for stability.

I then adhered the Designer Series Paper circle to the scalloped base.
The small rectangle pieces are to hold the safety pin to the back of the badge.

Here are the finished badges. The numbers and hearts are adhered with Dimensionals.

Below are the Dies I have used for this project.

Can you think of other uses for hand-made badges? Perhaps, birthdays or anniversaries?
You could decorate and embellish them in so many different ways, personalising them to your theme.

Grab these Framelit Dies and retiring products before they sell out, because after 31st May they will retire and no longer be available.

Have fun Creatin' and Happy Craftin'.
