Bloom by Bloom

Hi and welcome to my blog.

I am part of a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all around the world who are training together in Kylie's Demonstrator Support Program 2018-2019 to grow and improve our Stampin’ Up! Businesses. Each month we join in a fun Blog Hop together, sharing our creations with each other and with many other people around the world.
After viewing my blog, please click on the blog links at the bottom of the page to see the awesome creations of the other Demonstrators in our training group.

My card for this month's blog hop was inspired by some beautiful packaging I saw while shopping recently. See image below. I loved the combination of colours and knew it had similar images to one of our new stamp sets in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I take a lot of photos when I am out and about and I see something that I find creatively inspiring.

Do you like bold images? If you answered yes, then you will love this stamp set.

I thought I would try something a little different for this card. It isn't my usual style I prefer, but it's always good to try new things, don't you think? It is an easy card to create, using Simple Stamping techniques with a few additional embellishments and would be great for all levels of crafters from beginners to experienced.

I have used the Bloom by Bloom stamp set from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue for my card today. This stamp set has a lot of bold images and is lots of fun to create with.
The Occasions Catalogue is available from 3rd January until 3rd June 2019.

I teamed it with a sentiment from the Part of My Story stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration brochure. This is one of the FREE products that you can choose when placing an order of $90AUD or more during the Sale-A-Bration period 3rd January to 31st March 2019.

There's a lot of colour going on in this card. It's a cheery, happy card that I hope will brighten someone's day.
The colours I have used are Balmy Blue, Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Soft Suede, Gray Granite, Sahara Sand and So Saffron. I sponged some Balmy Blue ink in the background to resemble the blue box, which was my inspiration.
I also added the Braided Linen Trim beneath the sentiment and a couple of True Gentlemen Buttons to the large flowers to add some natural elements.

I've layered my stamped panel onto Calypso Coral, then mounted that piece with Dimensionals onto a Memories and More Card from the Happiness Blooms set, found in the Occasions Catalogue. My base card is Balmy Blue.
Please let me know what you think in the comments below.
